Sunday Scribblings #163 -- Disconnected

This week's Sunday Scribblings prompt is disconnected

I awaken
disconnected
from the outside world

My mind
unfettered
from temporal things

I call
You answer

We walk together
in the secret garden
of my soul

My spirit
naked and unashamed
before You

Your arms
Strong and Mighty
around me

I bask
in Your love

You smile
at my innocence

I emerge
strengthened, refreshed...
Connected

  3. This poem mirrors a class discussion at church today about detachment and attachment and how to connect with God. Nicely done.

  4. That was beautiful, Marguerite! Love changes so much in our lives: brings connectedness-confidence-happiness-joy-energy. I really love this poem.
